REBECCA
A Brief history
Hailing from the picturesque Highlands of Scotland and currently based in the Midlands of England, REBECCA is an emerging Indie pop singer-songwriter making her mark on the music scene.
Since bursting onto the scene in 2019, REBECCA has enjoyed radio airplay and has performed at a variety of music festivals. This year, she earned a spot on the longlist for the Glastonbury Emerging Talent Competition, standing out among thousands of talented artists.
Her musical journey began in Dublin, where she started writing and performing her original songs for Irish audiences. It was here that she collaborated with Irish producer Larry Hogan, leading to the creation of her breakout single, "Sunshine Kid." Released during the COVID-19 pandemic, this uplifting anthem quickly went viral, becoming a beloved track for many of her dedicated fans.
REBECCA's second release, "Gravity," produced by Hogan at the renowned Windmill Lane studio, tackled mental health issues and received significant national airplay.
In February, her fan-favorite track "Chemical Love" debuted, earning the title of BBC Introducing Midlands' Track of the Day and shining a brighter light on her musical journey.
Currently, REBECCA is gearing up for the release of her upcoming single, "LIBERTY." Recorded and produced by the acclaimed Ian Barter (known for his work with Amy Winehouse, Gabrielle, and Paloma Faith) at his studio in Berkshire, she describes this track as her most Indie work to date and is thrilled to share it with her followers.
